According to Ayurveda in order to achieve optimum fertility and conceive we need to address four particulars in both the male and the female.
1.Beeja Eggs (ovum or sperms).
2. Ambu The water or hormonal levels and its balance.
3. Kshthra The place or the correct conditions in the womb or the cooling or heating balance.
4. Kala or Time This is widely discussed in Ayurveda. The stress and pressure couples go through can often put a negative effect on the whole process on conceiving. Ayurveda tells us how to create the right environment and time to be a mother and father providing some spiritual guidance including such practices as meditation, yoga and offerings to deities.
In the hour-long consultation with Dr Deepika Rodrigo she will assess one or both parties to find out where any problems are concerning diet and lifestyle and discuss with you the Ayurvedic point of view of the causes of infertility in both male and females. Around the time of the females menstrual cycle Dr.Deepika will also perform panchakarma treatment. This three and a half hour treatment can give you full detox and rejuvenating effect. The panchakarma treatment aids in process of conceiving by reducing excess heat in the body providing a benign environment in the womb for conception.
Generally treatment can take up to 5 to 6 months and you may need to come for follow up treatments or assessment twice a month.
